A Year Among Wild Dogs is a 2027 deskpad calendar by Rudis Art & Design, created to bring the character and spirit of the African wild dog into your everyday workspace.

Measuring 55 × 32 cm, the deskpad features 12 beautifully illustrated monthly pages, each exploring a different theme inspired by the painted wolf: from connection, communication and instinct to endurance, courage, wilderness and legacy. Each month combines original Rudis artwork with a short reflection on the remarkable world of Lycaon pictus.

Designed to be both practical and collectable, each month provides space for planning, notes and to-do lists, while the artwork and stories offer a quiet connection to the wilderness throughout the year.

And when 2027 comes to an end, the calendar becomes artwork.

On the reverse is a 55 × 43 cm fine art print featuring an original wild dog drawing. The print can be carefully cut out and framed, allowing the artwork to live on long after the calendar has served its purpose.

Each deskpad is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity, personally signed by artist Monica Klopper.

The final page features Where the Wild Still Runs, a poem reflecting on the movement, connection and enduring spirit of the pack.
