The 2027 Wild Dog Calendar is a collection created through time spent in the presence of one of Africa’s most endangered carnivores.

For this collection, we visited the Waterberg Wild Dogs as well as the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s carnivore holding facility, where we had the opportunity to spend time observing and photographing individual wild dogs. These encounters became an important part of the story behind the calendar, allowing us to capture unique individuals, expressions, and moments that inspired the artworks.

The calendar was created through a collaboration of photographs, including images captured during our own visits and photographs generously shared by other wildlife photographers. These references were carefully selected and transformed into original Rudis artworks, creating a collection that reflects the individuality, character, and social nature of wild dogs.

Wild dogs are highly social and deeply connected to their packs, yet they remain one of Africa’s most endangered carnivores. Through this collection, we hope to encourage a closer appreciation of these animals and the wild spaces they depend on.

Only 200 copies of the 2027 Wild Dog Calendar will be printed, and each copy will be signed by the artist, making this a limited edition collection.

Pre-orders are now open. Calendars will be dispatched from 18 October 2026.
