About me

My name is Monica Klopper

I am an artist that draws inspiration from nature. I started Rudis after I graduated from the University of Pretoria. Throughout my four years of study in fine arts, there was a continuous exploration of nature and animals within my practice.

The main inspiration for my work is nature and the creatures that inhabit it. As an artist, I create naturalistic art pieces that function as decorative work as well. Collectors and owners of a Rudis each have a personal piece of nature to take home.
