“Suspended” – Fine Art Print

Suspended explores movement as a moment of transition rather than action itself. The springbok is depicted mid-bound, body lifted and folded into motion — held within a brief instant between earth and air. Known for its remarkable leaps and bursts of energy, the animal becomes a study of rhythm, instinct, and the quiet tension that exists within movement.

Rendered with fine, layered mark-making, the drawing focuses on form and gesture rather than landscape. The absence of a defined environment allows the figure to exist in isolation, drawing attention to the curve of the body and the subtle shifts of balance carried through the pose.
